Client Spotlight: Academic Student Satisfaction Survey

Assisted a University to Shape Their Policies and Practices

A very large, nationally-known academic institution was interested in retaining their students and growing their referral base.  Our task was to integrate four different satisfaction instruments, from different departments in different locations in the country.  We integrated demographic data (age, employment status, gender) by satisfaction with facilities, advising devices, admissions, financial aid, career services, and overall satisfaction.  We applied inferential statistics (e.g., analysis of variance, correlations, and regression analyses) to understand the cumulative effect and difference of factors on satisfaction.  Inferential statistics allowed us to draw systemic conclusions from the data and helped the University make decisions for their organization’s policies and practices.
